The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
Discussed the upcoming transition to the Department of Education beginning 7/1/2021.
- Comments:

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. A monitoring inspection was conducted via Zoom with the Head of School. A total of 110 children with 15 staff on site. Observations of Classrooms 9, 10, and 11 was made. Children from Class 8 were observed on the playground. The classrooms were set up to ensure proper social distancing between children and staff. All staff were observed wearing masks. Protocols for Covid-19 have remained the same since the last inspection. New mulch was added this spring to the playground. A review of some medication was made.
