The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs. Protocols/procedures remain unchanged from the last inspection.
Discussion on upcoming transition to the Department of Education on 7/1/2021. More information to follow.

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. The Head of School was contacted via Zoom meeting to conduct the inspection. A total of 116 children with 18 staff were on site today. Observations of classrooms 3 and 8 were made. The children were observed in dedicated work spaces. All staff were observed wearing masks. Some medication on site, and reviewed. Attendance recordation verified. A total of 3 children's records and 3 staff records were reviewed and found complete. New mulch is planned for late spring for the playground areas.
