Technical Assistance:
This is a modification to the existing license held by Pozez JCC / Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia to add the Cultural Arts Center (address: 8822 Little River Turnpike, in Fairfax, Virginia) to their license. This building, built after 1978 would be used as the new location for their school age program and have a capacity of 48 children (first floor - 20; second floor - 28. The center is not looking to increase their overall capacity of 160 as stated on their current license). No child under 2 1/2 years of age may be in care at this new location at any given time (as directed by the Fairfax County Department of Planning and Development). It should also be noted that the building has an "E" use group. The CDC had originally submitted this request on 07/02/2020, with a virtual tour of the facility conducted on 07/20/2020. Due to the pandemic this process was halted, and then later resumed on 04/16/2021.

Comments:
The following documents have been submitted to the Fairfax Licensing Office:

* Request to Modify license to include the Cultural Arts Center
* Site plan of building (1st and 2nd floors)
* Request for Building Evaluation - signed by a building official
* Non-Residential Use Permit - Certificate of Occupancy
* Fire Inspection
