The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the Licensed Program Coordinator COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs. Further discussion included what documentation should be kept on site for staff to be reviewed during each inspection versus what staff documentation should be kept in the PRCS main office; centrally in Leesburg (reviewed annually).

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated and concluded on 05/13/2021. The Licensed Program Coordinator was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were (53) children present, with (15) classroom staff, in (8) groups. The inspector emailed the Licensed Program Coordinator a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed (5) children?s records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. Staff files are checked on an annual basis through the PRCS main office in Leesburg by Inspectors from the Fairfax Licensing Office.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were cited.
