The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
Consulted on expanding a Toddler classroom. Be sure Arlington County Zoning allows for children that age to be in the designated classroom. Reviewed diapering requirements and the need for a portable sink to be available for hand washing.

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated on 05/12/2021 and concluded on 05/13/2021. The program is currently on a Conditional license The Director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were seventeen children in 3 classrooms with direct care staff in ratio for supervision. Reviewed two new staff records, medication authorizations and trainings for on-site emergency medications, children's activities (observed by FaceTime) and emergency preparation. Two medications were reported to be on-site the day of the inspection. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued
