This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated and concluded on 5/12/2021. The director was contacted by video conferencing application to initiate the inspection. A virtual tour of the program was conducted to determine compliance with staff to child ratios ( 16 children:12 staff) . A sample of children and staff records were reviewed. Emergency planning, supplies, and medication administration policies and procedures were also inspected.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
The licensing inspector has reviewed with program COVID 19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
