This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitor inspection was initiated and concluded on May 27, 2021. The center was contacted by telephone to initiate the virtual inspection. There were 5 children in care ranging in age from three through five years old, with 11 staff. Two classrooms are meeting in person and four classrooms are meeting virtually. The inspector emailed the director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The inspector reviewed three children?s records three staff records submitted by the director to ensure documentation was complete.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
