Reminder for staff to complete TB test/screenings once the leniency due to COVID has been lifted.
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. A monitoring inspection was initiated on 5/5/21 and concluded on 5/19/21. The Director was contacted by email to initiate the inspection. The inspector emailed the provider a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed 2 staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility. Plan of Correction: References were obtained and filed on 5/11.
Standard #: 63.2(17)-1721.1-B-4 Description: Based on file review, 1 staff record did not have the results of a fingerprint check prior to reporting to work at the child day center.
1. Staff #2 did not have the results of a fingerprint check on file.
Plan of Correction: Staff #2 had this background check completed and the results were returned on 5/17/21.
