This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. The Site Supervisor was contacted via Facetime to conduct the inspection. There were a total of 11 children with 3 staff on site. Observation of the program area was made, the children were observed wearing masks and sitting to ensure social distancing. Some children were playing an interactive computer game which enabled them to play with other children while socially distancing. Others were completing an activity that involved "What they want to do for the summer". A total of two children's records were reviewed, one that included medication/authorization. All required certifications were verified and emergency contacts for staff were maintained. All background checks and annual training for staff are reviewed at the administrative office annually. Thank you for your cooperation with this inspection process. Please email me at: lisa.hudson@dss.virginia.gov with any questions.
