Standard #: 22VAC40-185-400-A Description: Based on interview statement and review of documentation, it was determined that a staff person did not interact with a child in a way that promoted their emotional and social well-being and did not respect their personal privacy.
Evidence:
1. On 4/29/2021, Staff #1 pulled Child #1's (7 years old) skirt down twice, while the child was using the outdoor playground equipment.
2. On 6/24/2021, Staff #2 viewed a video recording of the incident, they verified that Staff #1 pulled Child#1's skirt down on two separate occasions, while the child had both of her hands up and was holding on to the playground equipment.Plan of Correction: Upon receipt of learning this information the employee was immediately terminated, and CPS and Licensing were notified immediately.
