The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) assumed oversight of child care licensing and monitoring on July 1, 2021. All associated regulations and codes have transferred over from the Virginia Department of Social Services.

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews and a virtual tour of the program.
A renewal inspection was initiated on 07/26/2021 and concluded on 07/30/2021. The Director was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 15 children present, ranging in ages from infant to four years of age with 5 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. Two newly hired staff records were reviewed as well as emergency medication authorizations. Lunch served today was lasagna with salad and fruit. Bottles were labeled with date and name.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued. Please contact me if you need any assistance.
