This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review and a virtual tour of the program.
A location modification inspection was initiated and concluded on 8/6/2021. The inspection was scheduled with the program administrator and a virtual inspection was conducted. The program is scheduled to open on Monday, August 9. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, programming, medication, special care and emergencies.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and one violation was documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-540-A Description: Based on a review of emergency preparedness items, it was determined that the first aid kit does not include all required items.
Evidence:
There is no battery-operated radio.Plan of Correction: We will buy a weather band radio before the children enter care on Monday.
