The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) assumed oversight of child care licensing and monitoring on July 1, 2021. All associated regulations and codes have transferred over from the Virginia Department of Social Services.

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews and a virtual tour of the program.
A monitoring inspection was initiated on July 21, 2021, and concluded on July 30,2021. The director was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 42 children present, ranging in ages from 2 to 5, with 13
staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 2 staff records were reviewed.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
