Technical Assistance:
Provided training: updated emergency plan 3 hour update training due 3/2020 -discussed when pack and plays are in use that no blankets are placed over the top. ( no children observed during inspection).

Comments:
An unannounced SHSI inspection was conducted today from 10:30 am- 11:30 am. There were 4 children ( 8 points) in care at the time of the inspection. Vendor information, child information, household member information was reviewed. The emergency preparedness planning and supplies were inspected as well as training hours, hand washing and self care routines. The children were observed playing cars, watching TV, playing with baby dolls and showing the inspector their play areas. Violations:
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-170-A
Description: Based on observation and interview, vendor did not maintain information for child in care. Evidence: Child C ( who vendor states does not regularly attend program ) did not have information available at inspection today.

Plan of Correction: I will get papers from mommy.

Standard #: 22VAC40-665-170-B
Description: Based upon information reviewed, required child information was incomplete. Evidence: Child A missing parent work address Child B missing parent work address.

Plan of Correction: I will get information from parents.

Standard #: 22VAC40-665-250-A
Description: Based upon observation, potentially poisonous substances, materials and supplies such as, but not limited to, cleaning supplies and disinfectants were not stored in areas inaccessible to children. Evidence: Hand Sanitizer marked"keep out of reach of children" was located on a low table in the family room play area within reach of children in care.
