This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, and a virtual tour of the program.
A monitoring inspection was initiated on 09/03/2021 and concluded on 09/03/2021. The director was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were thirty-nine children present, ranging in ages from two years to five years, with seven staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of two child records and two staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 63.2(17)-1720.1-B-4 Description: An out of state sex offender registry check for Staff B was not available for review.
Evidence:
1. Based on review of records and interview with administrator, the out of state sex offender registry check was not completed prior to 12/31/2020. The date of hire for Staff B was 09/26/2017.Plan of Correction: I plan to complete this registry check immediately and will send the inspector the results as soon as I get them.
