This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts and documentation review.
A monitoring inspection was conducted on 9/17/2021. The director was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 107 children present with adequate staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 3 child records and 3 staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-160-C Description: Based on record record review, the center did not obtain for one staff member a negative Tuberculosis screening every two years rom the date of the first initial screening or testing, or more frequently as if recommended by a licensed physician or the local health department.
Evidence:
The most recent Tuberculosis screening for Staff 3 was conducted on 3/6/2019.Plan of Correction: Have Staff 3 contact Health Dept. (ASAP) and update/record screening info.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-60-A Description: Based on record review, one of three children's records reviewed did not contain all required information.
Evidence:
Child 3's record did not contain the addresses for two persons to contact in the event the parent's cannot be reached.Plan of Correction: Contact parents and record information.
