Comments:
The following inspection took place between the hours of 10 am through 3 pm. Today, I met with the Staff of the Everbrook Academy located near Arcola, Virginia. At the start of this announced initial inspection there were a total of 29 children observed with 7 classroom staff; good ratios in all 5 rooms. A total of 5 children?s files and 4 board officers/admin files were reviewed. The children were engaged in the following: story time, imaginative play in the plaza, outside time on the playground, center activities within their classroom, lunch, infant sleeping, and other organized activities. If you should have any questions, please call or send an email to charlie.perkins@doe.virginia.gov. Thank you.
