Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews (if applicable) and a virtual tour of the program (if applicable).

A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was initiated on October 26, 2021 and concluded on October 28. There were 42 children present with 7 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program

Violations:
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-580-F
Description: Based on review of four staff records, one does not contain the required documentation of CPR and first aid training.
Evidence
The record for staff #1 does not contain documentation of completing CPR and first aid training within 90 days of first day of employment.

Plan of Correction: She is currently enrolled in a CPR/first aid class.
