Staff files are reviewed on an annual basis by representatives from the Commonwealth of Virginia, Department of Education, Division of School Readiness, Office of Child Care Health and Safety (Fairfax) and through the YMCA administrative offices located in either Reston and/or Leesburg, Virginia. Any observed standards found to be out of compliance would be cited in a violation notice issued at that time.

A monitoring inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews, and a virtual tour of the program.
This inspection was initiated and concluded on 10/27/2021. The SACC Program Director was contacted and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 20 school-age children present, with 3 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration; physical plant; staffing and supervision; programming; medication; special care and emergencies; and nutrition. A total of 5 children records were reviewed.
The information gathered during the inspection determined that there was not a violation to an applicable standard, code, and/or law. Therefore, a Violation Notice was not issued.
