This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary die to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
The director was contacted by phone to initiate the inspection. There were 13 school age children in care with two staff present. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSHI inspection. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy regulations that are not covered in the licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
The inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 22VAC40-665-580-J Description: Based on record review, staff had not completed the required 10 hr. training.
Evidence:
1. The inspector reviewed two staff records. Staff #2 was hired 7/1/2021 and as of 11/22/2021 has not completed the 10 hr. training.Plan of Correction: Staff will complete the training.
