Technical Assistance:
CARBON MONOXIDE: The center demonstrated compliance related to the installation of a carbon monoxide detector.

The new standards became effective on October 13, 2021, but the facility has not yet fully complied with the new requirements.

Technical Assistance: The annual fire inspection for the center was discussed. Center needs to provide the fire inspection report to the licensing inspector as soon as it is completed.

Comments:
An in-person monitoring inspection was conducted on 11/30/21 from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. There were 58 children in direct care and supervision of 14 staff members. The children were observed playing outdoors, engaged in indoor small center activities, sleeping in cribs and preparing for lunch. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 3 child records and 3 staff records were reviewed. Other center documents such as emergency records and first aid supplies were also reviewed. Medications and authorizations were reviewed.
