Technical Assistance:
Discussed: Emergency Planning Crib safety ( keeping documents when purchasing new crib to verify manufacture date) safe sleep practices use of safety belts on equipment when provided by manufacture for example ( bouncer seat, high chair, swings)

Comments:
An unannounced SHSI inspection was conducted today from 10:30 am- 11:40 am. Vendor information/ child information ,emergency planning and supplies were reviewed. There were were 2 children (7 points) directly supervised by the vendor at the time of the inspection. The children were observed resting and watching TV. Hand washing and diapering routines were also discussed. If there are any questions regarding this inspection please contact kelly.savittiere@dss.virginia.gov

Standard #: 22VAC40-665-160-B
Description: Based upon record review, the vendor did not maintain a written hard copy record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs. Evidence: There were 2 children in care when inspector arrived and there was no documentation of arrival for each child.

Plan of Correction: I will do now.

Standard #: 22VAC40-665-170-A
Description: Based upon information reviewed, required child record was not available for child in care. Evidence: Child A did not have a record on file .

Plan of Correction: Child is only here today. He will not come any more.
