This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews (if applicable) and a virtual tour of the program (if applicable).
A monitoring inspection was initiated on January 18, 2022 and concluded on January 20, 2022. The director was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 27 children present, ranging in ages from one month to 12 years with 7 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. Children's records and 3 staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-160-C Description: Based on review of three staff records, one does not have results of a follow-up tuberculosis screening at least every two years from the date of the first initial screening or testing.
Evidence
The record for staff #1 contains tuberculosis results that are more than two years from the date of the previous tuberculosis results (expired 10/12/21).Plan of Correction: It will be completed by next week and the results will be placed in the record.
