Technical Assistance:
Discussed clear documentation of contacts with agencies when background check results (both in and out of state) are delayed. This includes keeping copies of the forms sent, copies of payments made (if applicable) and clear notes regarding the date when request was mailed out, when the agency was contacted as a follow up, who you spoke with, what they said and any additional actions you had to take.

Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews and a virtual tour of the program.

A renewal inspection was initiated on January 24, 2022 and concluded on January 27, 2022. The director was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 32 children present, ranging in ages from 5 to 9 years old with 3 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 4 child records and 4 staff records were reviewed. One medication kept on site for emergency use was reviewed with regard to storage, labeling, authorization, administration and required documentation.

The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
