This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews and a virtual tour of the program. A renewal inspection was initiated on 01/25/2022 and concluded on 01/26/2022. The director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 72 children present and 22 staff. The inspector emailed the director/provider a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 4 staff records, along with any requested program records submitted by the facility to determine if required documentation was complete. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-270-A Description: Based on observation the center did not ensure all areas and equipment were maintained in a safe condition.
1. There was rust in one of the sinks in the boys bathroom .
2. The was peeling paint on the gym door.Plan of Correction: This will be corrected by 2/26/2022. Our safety captain and staff will continue to complete all daily and weekly safety checklists and report any deficiencies to management within 24 hours. Management will do periodic inspections to ensure that all center areas and equipment are kept in a safe condition.
