This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews and an in-person component to include a tour of the program.
An initial inspection was conducted on 02/04/2022. The owner was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. The inspector emailed the owner a list of items required to complete the inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-280-B Description: Based on observation the center did not ensure hazardous substances kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.
The center had various cleaning agents on a shelf and floor area behind the staff desk and bottles of antibacterial hand sanitizer on each students work stations.Plan of Correction: The following corrective action was provided by the owner:
Chemicals will be kept in a locked location and out of reach of children.
