The Emergency Preparedness Plan requirements were reviewed.
- Comments:

A monitoring inspection was conducted on 02/18/2022. There were 42 children present, ranging in ages from infant to 5 years, with 13 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 3 child records and 3 staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-770-60-C-2 Description: Based upon review of three staff records, the facility has not ensured that results of a child protective service (CPS) central registry finding are obtained within 30 days of employment.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-140-A Description: Based upon review of three children's records and staff interview, the facility has not ensured that each child has a physical examination by or under the direction of a physician before the child's attendance or within one month after attending.

Staff 4 verified that the record for child 1 did not include the results of a physical examination.Plan of Correction: The facility responded with the following:
The parents of child 1 are military and kept him home with grandparents while deployed before this week. His dad just got back yesterday and we will be sure to get his physical immediately.
