22.1 Early Childhood Care and Education

Comments:
A monitoring inspection was conducted virtually with the director. Thirty four children were present with 9 staff providing supervision. The ages of the children ranged from 5 months to 5 years. Two staff and two children's files were reviewed. The areas of the standards reviewed included administration, staff qualifications and training, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programs, special care provisions and emergencies and special services.
The violation issued is outlined on the violation notice.

Description: Based on a review of the most recent health inspection and interview, it was determined that there has not been an annual inspection by the health department. The most recent health inspection is dated 6/17/20.

Plan of Correction: I will contact the VDH to request a health inspection.
