Technical Assistance:
Discussed the process that the vendor must take if she decides to move.

Comments:
The vendor is present with two children in care, total points today are 7. The younger child was napping at the beginning of the inspection. The vendor provides meals, snack for the children that come after school. The children will have lentils and rice for lunch today.The vendor sometimes takes the children to the park across the street but does not transport the children. The children have a large space for playing and lots of age appropriate supplies to explore. Please call me at 703-203-8659 if you have any questions regarding this inspection. Standard #: 22VAC40-665-160-B
Description: Based on the review of the vendors paperwork and interview with the vendor it was determined that the vendor does not maintain a written hard copy record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs.
Evidence: The vendor does not have a written record of daily attendance.

Plan of Correction: I will start taking attendance.

Standard #: 22VAC40-665-170-A
Description: Based on the review of children's records, it was determined that the vendor does not have a written or electronic record for one child in care.
Evidence: Child B has no paperwork.

Plan of Correction: I will give the parents the paperwork and tell them i need it back tomorrow.

Standard #: 22VAC40-665-410-A-1
Description: Based on the review of emergency drill records and interview with the vendor, it was determined that the vendor failed to conduct monthly emergency evacuation drills.
Evidence: The vendor did not conduct any emergency drills in the months of July, August, September and October 2019..

Plan of Correction: I will make sure I have drills every month
