An unannounced Renewal inspection was conducted today. There were a total of 55 children with 4 staff onsite. The children were observed arriving to the program, placing their belongings inside bins that were lined against the walls. The children sat quietly as the attendance was called. Children have designated tables to sit at with a staff member assigned to each grouping. Two groups transitioned to outside play and two groups remained inside. Handwashing procedures were observed prior to snack. Substitution was noted on the snack menu. Staff closely monitored the children while they ate. Small groups of children proceeded to log onto their computers to either play games or complete assignments. 3 emergency medications onsite today which coincided with the posted list of allergies. Staff certifications in MAT/CPR/First Aid and Daily Health observation were verified today. Background checks and annual staff training are reviewed annually at the administrative office. A total of 4 children's records and medication authorizations were reviewed. Thank you for your cooperation today. Please email me at: with any questions.

A compliance history is in no way a rating for a facility.

The online compliance history includes only information after July 1, 2003. In addition, the online compliance history includes information regarding adverse actions that may be the subject of a pending appeal. An adverse action is not final until a provider has exhausted or waived all due process rights. For compliance history prior to July 1, 2003, or information regarding the status of pending adverse actions, please contact the Licensing Inspector listed in the facility's information. The Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) is not responsible for any errors in or omissions from the compliance history information.
