An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted 4/27/2022. Upon arrival to the center the children were involved in center play, small groups, circle time and lunch. There were nine children and three staff present.
A total of five children's records and one staff record was reviewed.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-550-D Description: Based on record reviews the center failed to practice evacuation drills monthly.
Evidence:
The center did not practice evacuation drills (Fire drills) for the months of December, 2021 and January, 2022.Plan of Correction: The teacher will ensure that monthly fire drills are conducted and documented.
