Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from approximately 9:00am-10:30am. There were 17 children directly supervised by 3 staff. The physical plant, 4 staff required training records, 4 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed arriving for the day, and playing with manipulative toys. There was an assortment of age appropriate materials for the children in care. The center was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Evidence:
An unlocked bladed paper cutter was observed on an open closet shelf in an occupied classroom.

Description: Based on observation, not all hazardous substances were kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.
Evidence:
A container of liquid bleach and a bottle of descaler were observed on a shelf above the sink in the unlocked kitchen.
