The Licensing Inspector conducted an unannounced complaint inspection in response to a complaint that was received by the licensing office on 5/16/2022. Interviews were conducted with staff to establish they can speak in English. Staff observed interacting with the children in English while in the classroom. The toddler class (16months -2 years) was observed on the playground upon my arrival with water readily available and being offered to all the children. Water was also offered to the children when they arrived back into the classroom. The children were observed using a walking rope without incident. The food served for lunch was what was reflected on the posted menu. All 5 components from the USDA chart was served. Milk was served in a 5 ounce cup, the cup was filled half way, 2 1/2 ounce. Once finished the children were served with another 3 ounces of milk. Some children were observed drinking 4 serving of milk, totaling approximately 6-8 ounces of milk. The information gathered during this investigation does not support the allegations, so the complaint is determined to be not valid.
