Technical Assistance:
Discussion was held on the topics of current enrollment, activities, and current staffing. Today, the children enjoyed a special theme day of "PIRATES!"

Discussion of making the posted county emergency information site/room specific. Example - listed the assembly point outside (in the event of an evacuation) on this information form that is posted in each room. The Director pointed out that in addition the Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan (EP&RP) was also posted on the front bulletin board. The EP&RP gives greater detail on what staff are to do in an emergency.

Discussion of following up with the parents of Child #4 (room #7) in regards to the dates listed on their child's medication authorization form.

Comments:
This renewal inspection was initiated by licensing staff and concluded on 05/25/2022, between the hours of 9:30 am to 12 pm. There were 182 preschool children present, with 24 staff supervising across 12 separate classrooms. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration; physical plant; staffing and supervision; programming; medication; special care and emergencies; and nutrition. A total of 5 children records along with their medication/authorizations were reviewed. Staff files are reviewed on an annual basis through the PRCS main office in Leesburg. Any violation from the annual review would be issued at that time.

Information gathered during the inspection determined that there were (2) two non-compliances with applicable standards. These violations were documented on the Violation Notice issued to the program.

If you should have any questions, please call or send an email to charlie.perkins@doe.virginia.gov. Thank you.
