8VAC20-790 SUBSIDY REGULATIONS.

Comments:
A subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted on 05/26/2022. There were 31 children, ages 2 months-5 years, and 7 staff members present during the inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, staff qualifications and trainings, staffing and supervision, physical plant, programs, emergencies and nutrition. The children were observed having breakfast, during hand washing, in free choice play and having lunch. The inspector discussed the following: summer care for school-age children, caring for children with medical conditions and job qualifications. A total of 5 children?s records, 5 staff records and 1 medication were reviewed. The inspector arrived for the inspection at 8:50 am and departed at 11:40 am.

A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements not cover in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.

Information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
