Description: Based on interviews it was determined that behavioral guidance was not always appropriate and constructive in nature. Evidence: On April 20, 2022 at about 8:30 a.m. It was reported that staff A used their arm to push child A against the wall. Child A was asked to put away their toys from home. When the child refused, staff A began yelling, approached the child and asked them to put the toys away again. The child then lunged at and attempted to strike staff A. Staff A then put their arm up to block child A from lunging at them and also took hold of child A's wrist to prevent the child from striking staff A. During this interaction it was reported that Staff A used their arm to push child A against the wall. Child A then put their toy away and moved to sit down at a table.
