A complaint inspection was initiated on 4/21/22 and concluded on 6/30/22 .
The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, and staffing and supervision.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-340-F Complaint related: No Description: Based on staff interviews, and a review of recorded video, the facility failed to ensure that all children under 10 years of age always shall be within actual sight and sound supervision of staff.
Evidence:
1. On April 20, 2022, during lunch at 11:39am, child #1 and 2 (age 3 years) left the cafe and returned to their classroom without the supervision or knowledge of staff #1 and 2 who were on duty.
No staff member realized they were not in the cafe until 1 1/2 minutes later when child #3 told staff #1. Staff #2 left the cafe to retrieve the children.Plan of Correction: Not available online. Contact Inspector for more information.
