The following was discussed with the assistant director, who was the designated person-in charge at the time of inspection:
*It is recommended children in a classroom eat at the same times so that one group of children are not having to watch and wait for the other group to finish.
* When accepting a child into care with an identified special need, it is recommended administration and staff who will be caring for the child, work together on an inclusion plan based on the child's needs while maintaining required classroom management.

A monitoring inspection was conducted on 07/06/2022. There were 42 children present and 14 staff. The Inspector reviewed 4 children?s records and 2 staff records, along with any requested program records submitted by the facility to determine if required documentation was complete. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-270-A Description: Based on observation the center did not ensure all areas and equipment of the center were maintained in a safe condition.
Evidence:
In the twos room there was peeling paint on the walls in reach of children.Plan of Correction: Maintenance will be contacted to remove peeling paint.
