A Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted on 07/14/22 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. A total of 47 children were present with 9 caregivers. . The physical plant, outdoor playground area, programming, menus, 5 staff records, 5 children?s records, 1
medication, emergency drills, and emergency supplies were inspected. Children were observed playing games, coloring, eating snack, playing with blocks, and playing outdoors. There was an adequate number of staff trained in CPR/First aid, Daily Health Observation and Medication Administration at the time of inspection.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
