Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today at 11:15 am. There were 33 children directly supervised by 8 staff. The physical plant, 4 staff records, 5 children?s records, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed returning from a walking trip to the park and washing hands.. There was an assortment of age appropriate materials for the children in care. The center was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-270-A
Description: Based on observation, areas of the center were not maintained in a safe condition.
Evidence:
The door frame of the utility closet was observed to have peeling paint.

Plan of Correction: The area is scheduled to be repainted during the break between 8/26/22-8/31/22.
