A monitoring inspection was conducted on July 21, 2022. There were eleven children present with two staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of two child records and two staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-560-J Description: Based on observation, facility did not ensure tables are sanitized before and after each use for feeding.
Evidence: Children were observed eating their lunch at individual desks. Staff were observed spraying desks with soap water solution and then wiping the desk top with a disinfecting wipe after children finished eating.
