An unannounced afternoon inspection was conducted today at 4:10-4:55. At the time of the inspection there were 27 children with 5 staff and the children were in 3 different groupings. The children were observed playing, making crafts, and making and enjoying fresh fruit kabobs. Handwashing was also observed. The Program has a detailed and current list of medical issues and medication procedures were current and in compliance. Children's records and staff records were also reviewed. Standard #: 8VAC20-780-550-P Description: Based on record review of 7 written records of children's injuries, one report did not include required signatures.
Evidence:
1. One injury report dated July 11 stated parent was notified but there was no parent signature or the second staff member's signature to confirm information was given.Plan of Correction: We will make sure signatures are included to verify information was given.
