An unannounced complaint inspection was conducted on site on 7/25/2022. The inspectors arrived at 12:00 PM and departed at 1:45 P.M. Follow up interviews were completed on 7/27/2022. A complaint was received in the licensing office on 7/25/2022. The preponderance of evidence of ratio was supported and complaint is valid.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-350-C Complaint related: Yes Description: Based on observations, the center failed to ensure that the staff to child ratio was met.
Evidence:
1.On 7/25/2022 there were 22 children ages 2 ? to 5 years of age in the White Pine Room with two staff. The required ratio is for one staff for eight children. Three staff members were required.Plan of Correction: The director stated that the third staff was not on site during the inspection and director will make sure that all staff are in place to ensure that ratios are met.
