A complaint inspection was conducted on August 23, 2022, involving care and protection. Information gathered during the inspection determined the complaint was not valid, but other violations were observed and are documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Standard #: 8VAC20-780-550-P Complaint related: No Description: Based on interview with center director, the center did not have available a written record of children's serious and minor injuries in which entries are made the day of occurrence for review by the inspector.
Evidence
The center director confirmed there were incidents that have occurred in January-February involving child #1 and child #2, but a written record of children's serious and minor injuries was not available for review by the inspector.Plan of Correction: Incident and accident reports were written and signed by parents but were misfiled and not readily available when requested. Center will review and implement an improved plan to ensure any future reports are readily available.
