Comments:
A monitoring inspection was conducted on 08/31/2022. There were a total of 56 children with 11 staff members present. Children were observed during lunch time and hand washing. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 3 staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Standard #: 8VAC20-780-160-A
Description: Based on a review of staff records, each staff member did not submit documentation of a negative tuberculosis screening at the time of employment.
Evidence:
Staff #1 (date of hire 8/24/2022) had tuberculosis results dated 8/26/2022

Plan of Correction: We will have all staff get the TB test or screening before they start work.
