A conversation with the onsite manager included checking the mats in the infant classroom for wear.
- Comments:

A renewal inspection was conducted today, 09/12/2022. There were a total of 85 children with 17 staff members present. Children were observed napping, playing with boats and water, bottle feeding/tummy time, music class, and interacting with teachers. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 6 child records and 4 staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Standard #: 8VAC20-780-270-A Description: Based on observation, areas and equipment of the center were not maintained in a safe condition.
Evidence:
An upper cabinet in the right corner of the room had a loose cabinet door that fell off when opened.Plan of Correction: Corrected during inspection. Removed door cover and the storage shelf of upper cabinet will be used to store the additional classroom supplies
