A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted on 09/08/2022. There were 35 children present with 6 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-790-600-F Description: Based on a review of staff records, did not annually complete the department's health and safety update course.
Evidence:
Staff A (date of hire 8/5/2021) had a health and safety update dated 4/5/2021.Plan of Correction: We will do an audit of the files to check to see if anyone else is expired. We will have all expired employees do the update.
