Violations:
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-280-D
Description: Based on the observation, cleaning materials shall not be located above food and be stored in areas physically separate from food.

Evidence: Inspector observed cleaning materials on a top shelf. There was food located on the shelf under the cleaning materials.

Plan of Correction: Chemicals will be put on the lower shelf.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-340-C
Description: Based on the observation, the center failed to ensure during the hours of operation, there always shall be on the premises one staff who meets the qualifications of program leader and an immediately available staff member, volunteer or other employee wo is at least 16 years of age, with direct means for communication between the two of them if there is an emergency.

Evidence: Inspector observed only one person working with the fourteen children the day of inspection. When asked ?how often the staff member was alone?, they replied ?most days?. I asked ?who do they contact in case of an emergency?, she replied with ?no one. She would have to call her supervisor, who doesn?t work at the site?.

Plan of Correction: Not available online. Contact Inspector for more information.
