Technical Assistance:
Consultation was given on ensuring 12 inches between occupied cots during rest time, labeling food items and ensuring a report is sent home if a child is sick and needs to be picked up early for the center's records.

Comments:
An allegation concerning care of children and nutrition was received to the DOE Licensing office. Staff interviews, records, physical observation of the classroom and nutrition services were reviewed. Based on the preponderance of evidence and information gathered during the inspection, the part of the complaint addressing nutrition/special services was valid. The other areas of concern were not valid. Non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Feel free to contact me if you need any assistance.
