Today we discussed placing a gate or barrier at the entrance to the kitchen so that children are not able to access the area if a staff is not present in the room. If the stove top were being used and staff had to leave the area momentarily, a child might access the area since restrooms are located on the same hallway.
Forms to use for documenting Program Leader qualifications / training were emailed to the Licensee following the inspection.

A renewal inspection was initiated and concluded on 10/132022. At the time of arrival, there were 13 children present, ranging in ages from 10 months old to 4 years old, with 4 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 4 staff records were reviewed.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
